Project Engineer
An ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with the owner/principal (as well as some of the most talented and accomplished architectural firms in the area) on a wide variety of projects while quickly advancing your career. The ideal candidate will be able to transition into a Project Management position within 18 to 24 months of coming on board and begin guiding junior engineers on design related tasks. $40-$45 per hour, depending on experience
YOUR ROLE
Assist in the preparation of civil engineering plans in Civil 3D and AutoCAD to company standards
Work with senior staff on design and engineering calculations
Produce accurate plans for grading, street improvements, water, sewer, and storm drain systems
Work effectively in a collaborative environment consisting of multiple disciplines
Assist with both public and private projects throughout the state of California
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from accredited university
3-7 years of experience in land development engineering
Proficiency drafting plans in AutoCAD
E.I.T. Certified
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams
Willingness to grow by acquiring new skills and knowledge
ABOVE & BEYOND
Work experience in architecture, engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, or planning
Experience in hydrology, utilities, drainage systems, and sewers
P.E. License in the State of California
