Heritage Ranch is a thriving lakeside community of over 2,000 homes nestled along the shores of Lake Nacimiento, approximately 12 miles northwest of Paso Robles. When failing slopes and a blocked culvert along Heritage Road threatened to collapse the community's primary roadway — and the water and sewer lines beneath it — SLO Civil Design was called in to act fast as a project manager for a site in critical condition.

Working across two sites, our team engineered slope restoration and drainage repairs to stabilize over 6,000 square feet of eroding embankment and restore a critical culvert to full function. Navigating emergency permitting across multiple state and federal agencies, we protected Heritage Road and ensured uninterrupted water and sewer service for the thousands of residents who depend on it.
